Music As the Alarm
Pioneer introduces its latest sound system that can act as a home security system because of its additional feature: motion sensors.
The MT-01 Power Line Sound System allows you to enjoy music all throughout your house! Instead of using conventional speaker wires, the MT-01 uses household electricity lines to transmit sounds to any part of your home. You can plug up to six specially-designed Power Line Network speakers into electric sockets and have fun listening to music.
The sound system has a plain but stylish appearance, and can be controlled by remote control. You can also connect your MP3 player, iPod, computer, or any audio system with it. Multi-room playback from two different sources is also possible with MT-01! For example, music from you MP3 player can be played in one room, while music from another source can be played in the next room.
The most astonishing feature of the MT-01 sound system, however, is the motion sensor in the small speaker of the sound system. By detecting motion in the room, the system will automatically start playing your music. The only disadvantage we can see with this feature is that we’ll have to be ready for sudden music brought about by a simple vase falling or by a dog’s wagging tail.
The MT-01 will be released at the end of September. More information on the MT-01 Power Line Sound System at Pioneer.
